Spring brings new growth to the orchards and lots of activities at Valley Fig Growers. Enjoy our Fabulous Fig Photo Contest winning photo of Fig Compote and Chèvre Leaves--it's spectacular. Looking for a special dish to serve on Mother's Day and Father's Day? The yummy Butterscotch Sauce from Cook's County served over waffles or for dessert over ice cream is our choice. Mediterranean Month comes in May, so we teamed up with California Olive Ranch Olive Oil to feature a Fig and Black Olive Spread. On the nutrition front, we're sharing a link to a great recipe for Breakfast Fig and Nut Cookies that sounds like a good way to start the day.
